Charles Truscott was born on 29 September 1782 at Liskeard and he died on 29 January 1855. He was a labourer. He married Grace Hambly who was a Sojourner (that is a woman from outside this parish) on 3 May 1807. He had two brothers and one sister. Both brothers were named John and the older of these died as a small child. Charles' second brother, John Truscott was born on 29 January 1787 at Liskeard. He was baptized on 29 July 1787 at Liskeard. Charles and Grace had four children.

Charles married Grace Hambly on 3 May 1807.³⁸¹ (Grace Hambly was born circa 1784 and was christened on 30 May 1784 in St Pinnock, Liskeard, Cornwall England ³⁸¹.)
