Dentist. Lived at 1 Hillway, Nedlands WA prior to enlistment in RAAF

Flight Lieutenant with RAAF 79 Squadron

Killed in action at Kiriwina, Trobriand Islands, New Guinea, after his spitfire developed an internal glycol leak at 25,000 feet. After gliding down to 300 feet on the approach to land, the engine exploded and the aircraft, turning on to its
back, dived into a swamp.
