I have a Thomas Spinck b. abt 1540 in Hillome, Yorkshire and d. 29 Dec 15 86 in Monk Fryston, West Riding, Yorkshire, England. He had children: 1. Robert 26 May 1561 2. Alice 22 Feb 1562 3. John abt 1564 4. Margaret 20 Apr 1566 5. Elizabeth (Bettis) 4 May 1568 6.Thomas 6 Nov 1572
I am looking for Thomas 1540 wife and ancestry. They were supposed to be d escended from Spynke of Northampton before 1066. They were apparently a pr ominent old family but I can't find much on them.
