Attended Cheshunt United Reformed Church (previously a Congregational Church) Lived at Hollywood Gardens at Cheshunt Buried 14/10/1950 Cheshunt, Hertford England

When I visited Cheshunt in 2017 I discovered that the original Cheshunt Free Church had been destroyed and was now a housing estate. I had been told that it was replaced by a new Church in a different location. When I enquired as to what had happended to the gravestones at the original church or the bodies that were buried there I discovered that they were either left there or maybe were moved to the cemetery which was quite some kilometers away. No-one seemed to know how I could find out what had happened to my great grandparents' graves.
