Chemist in Dorrigo for many years, was apprenticed to his uncle Percy in Muswellbrook before. Suffered from poliomyelitis, shortened leg, limped for most of adult life. Cowper 1938 roll: Dorrigo, chemist, living Hickory St. Later, lived 15 Myrtle St Dorrigo

Bert was born on 17 July 1903 at Emmaville and he died in Dorrigo on 17 May 1983. He was a chemist in Dorrigo. He suffered from poliomyelitis and with a shortened leg he limped for most of adult life. Bert was cremated in Kempsey and his ashes are at Rookwood cemetery in Sydney. They adopted two children.
Gillian Truscott was born on 2 June 1938 in Sydney. Gillian Hutchins (formerly Clarkson, nee Truscott) (07-49745343) lived at Lot 2 (18) Dovedale Road, Miriam Vale in QLD 4677. Gillian went to boarding school in Tamworth and then East Sydney Technical College. She then worked as photo retoucher for Woolworths in Sydney. She married John Clarkson who is now deceased. She then married Kevin Hutchins. She died on 20 July 2016.
