Parents Donal Munro (c. 1822-?) and Janet Macpherson (1822-1862, married 14 Sep 1838 in Tongue, Scotland, boarded the "James Moran"and left for Australia .arriving there on11.2.1839.Their first "Job" ( arranged under their migration scheme)
earned them 35 pounds per year plus a roof and rations. Eventually became dairy farmers near Shoalhaven in 1840s.

Mary married Imlay Peter McLaren in 1866 in Shoalhaven, NSW Australia. (Imlay Peter McLaren was born in 1840 and died in 1917 in Byron Bay, NSW Australia.)
