General Notes:

Lived with his grandmother (Katherine Simpson) and her second husband (John Simpson) after his parents separated; initially in Tweed River district and subsequently in Sydney (at 77 Hereford Street, Forest Lodge in 1917). Farmer and labourer.

Served in 35th Battalion Australian Imperial Force, World War I. Enlisted 22 January 1917; saw action in France; returned to Australia 20 May 1919.

Living as farmer at Highworth, Nambour, Qld on 1925 electoral roll; at Nindery, via Yandina, Qld (nr Nambour) on 1936 electoral roll.

Went looking for his brother Alfred Playsted Share (Eslake) around 1965 placed an advertisement which was seen by David ('Alf') Share - 13 years after Freddie's death.

Lived at 31 Mary Street, Noosaville (Sunshine Coast, Qld).
