Gilbert Phillips

  General Notes:

A few years ago, I managed to meet with a lady by the name of Gillian Curtis, who is the daughter of William John Bloomfield's daughter Coralie and her husband Gilbert Phillips, who was a neurosurgeon. Ironically, the great-grandfather of Gillian's husband Peter Curtis, whose name was Thomas Holt, was the owner of Wealwandangie Station at Springsure, Qld (inland from Rockhampton), where Thomas Slatyer (William Roy Slatyer-Eslake's younger brother) was the manager.

Gilbert married Coralie Ngareta Bloomfield, daughter of George (Aka William James Bloomfield) Eslake and Alice Cupples. (Coralie Ngareta Bloomfield was born circa 1910.)
