Thomas Vipond married Margaret Ridley 20/6/1784 In Alston, Cumberland. And a second notice of marriage in Knarsedale Northumberland where Margaret is from. At this stage dont know much on the Vipond line but heaps on the Ridley line. I have looked into children from Margaret and Thomas (which i have yet to confirm) and they could be from Garrigill, Cumberland. I noted some of the Viponds on your tree are from the same area.
So maybe your Thomas Vipond (1768) married a third time before his other marriages?

Thomas married Frances Emerson, daughter of Joseph Emerson and Isabel Wilkinson, on 21 May 1793 in Alston, Cumberland England. (Frances Emerson was born on 25 Apr 1775 in Alston, Cumberland England and died on 27 Apr 1804 in Alston, Cumberland England.)

Thomas next married Ann Wales on 27 Jul 1805 in Alston, Cumberland England. (Ann Wales was born about 1780 in Cumberland, Cumbria England.)
