Research Notes:
source: & Rosmary Vine who notes: am a descendant of the Dolgner Family who came out to Moreton Bay on the ship " Cesar Godeffroy" in 1861. The names from " Emigrants from Hamburg to Australasia 1850-1879 data base on 19/09/2888", which is available at the Queensland Library, Brisbane are different to some on the list of others. C. Ludwich Dolgner, age 39 from Bussow Preussen, Marie, 35yrs, Johann (Frederick) my ancestor, 13yrs, next one is Wilhelm, 11yrs. and then the twins,Mathilde, 7yrs. and Auguste. 7yrs.There were two or more children born after arrival in Queensland. At this stage of my research I do not agree with Lou on the position of "Bussow" in Germany. He says PENKUN but on other internet information the map co-ordinates do not match and Bussow(Buszow) is still just inside the border of Poland. I have just returned from Germany and I can definitely say that "Brussow" North-east of Prenslau is not the land of our ancestors.
