If there is a connection, you may be interested to know that Frank Thorn's house at 16 Crotonhurst Ave Caulfield was also called Wynsome. My family rented No 16 from 1974 to 1978 when we were told it was being sold due to the death of the owner - who I see from the website was Dorothy Ansted who died in 1976. Probate of her estate was probably granted in 1977-8 and that was why we had to move.
