Charlotte Rowland

  General Notes:

Charlotte was previousely married on the 5th January 1857 at Holy Trinity, Clapham, UK. They emigrated to Australia on the "Radnagore" leaving England on the 15th March 1861, a voyage of 140 days. They had four children all whom died from tuberculosis in infancy. Her husband James also died of the disease on the 12th Ma y 1865.
Charlotte contracted tuberculosis herself and had one leg amputated due to tuberculosis of the knee. The doctor wanted to amputate the other leg, but she refused and subsequentley died.

Charlotte next married James Fraser Cannon on 5 Jan 1857 in Holy Trinity, Clapham, Surrey England. (James Fraser Cannon was born circa 1835 and died on 12 May 1865 in Victoria Australia.)
