Samuel married Ann Wheatley, daughter of Edward Wheatley and Ann Vinall, on 17 May 1752 in St Bartholomews, Maresfield, Sussex England. (Ann Wheatley was christened on 8 Nov 1728 in West Hoathly, Sussex England, died on 2 May 1805 in Burwash, East Sussex England and was buried on 2 May 1805 in Burwash, East Sussex England.)
