My father is the Grandson of Clara Rubina Payne nee Abbott. My Grandfather after his fathers' death fought under the name of Boy-O-Lynch.
All I know from Nan Velveen that John Lynch was a Captain on the boats that travelled the rivers. Don't know how they met, or if they had any children. Nan's father and brother worked bullock teams snigging timber from the bush after being felled in the Wauchope area, that's where I picked up the [4] PAYNE boys again but Nan didn't know where Clara lived with the rest of the family - the girls and younger boys.

John married Clara Rubina Abbott, daughter of Daniel Christopher Abbott and Eliza Hawkins, in 1913 in Coonabarabran, NSW Australia. (Clara Rubina Abbott was born on 14 Oct 1874 in Wangaratta, Victoria Australia and died on 20 Feb 1928 in Newtown, Sydney, NSW Australia.)
