I remember one episode with my Grandfather. He took me to the blacksmith shop where he got an old tin kettle and poured a white liquid in (weed killer)
We went into the paddock near the house and he poured the weed killer onto some plants with prostrate leaves. He said "I don't know what these are but they are no good." The weeds were skeleton weed as I worked out years later.

Henry married Mary Ann O'Neill, daughter of George Patrick O'Neill and Elizabeth Anne Corcoran, in 1898 in Burrowa, (later changed to Boorowa) NSW Australia. (Mary Ann O'Neill was born on 18 May 1877 in Burrowa, (later changed to Boorowa) NSW Australia and died on 14 Aug 1963.)
