General Notes: George was transported out to N.S.W on the "Marquis of Huntley"(4)arriving 5-7-1835. He was 18 years old and was trialed atBuckinghamshire,14-10-1834 for housebreaking and got 14 years. He wasassigned to Dr.Andrew Gibson of Tiranna Goulburn. Later George becamethe overseer for Tirrannaville.George meet Bridget at Tirranna in 1852and married her in 1853. Noted events in his life were: • Baptism, 9 Oct 1814, St Giles, Chalfont, Buckinghamshire England. • connection. George married Bridget Frost, daughter of William Frost and Ann, on 27 Sep 1853 in St Peter & St Paul, Catholic Church, Goulburn, NSW Australia. (Bridget Frost was born in 1832 in Dorras, County Clare, Ireland UK 631 and died on 4 Sep 1895 in Gundary, Goulburn, NSW Australia.) |
