Richard Tuckwell for some reason, perhaps companionship, took up with an convict who arrived 1808 on board the 'Speke'. She was described as "an old offender" - I think both in age and crime experience! Her name was Elizabeth Sidebottom/Sidebotham. They were married twice, in 1808 and 1810.

Elizabeth married Richard Tuckwell, son of William Tuckwell and Mary Yarnton, in 1808-1810. (Richard Tuckwell was born on 26 May 1759 in Eastleigh, Turville, Gloucestershire England and died on 21 Mar 1820 in Pitt St, Sydney, NSW Australia.)

Elizabeth next married Simon Lear. (Simon Lear was born circa 1780.)
