Sophia petitioned the Lord Lieutenant on 3/1/1799 to accompany her Husband Ferdinand to Australia. She states she had been married to Ferdinand for 8 years.

A second petition was lodged dated 29/3/1799. This petition was granted, but Sophia never went to Australia despite being allowed to go.
